O desporto autom\u00f3vel em Lousada tem uma longa hist\u00f3ria que reflete a paix\u00e3o dos Lousadenses por desportos motorizados. Desde a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de pistas improvisadas at\u00e9 a funda\u00e7\u00e3o do Clube Autom\u00f3vel de Lousada (CAL), muitos foram os passos dados para que Lousada se destacasse no mundo do desporto autom\u00f3vel.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

O Clube Autom\u00f3vel de Lousada, com a sua capacidade extraordin\u00e1ria de organiza\u00e7\u00e3o de provas desportivas, tem desempenhado um papel fundamental no desenvolvimento e consolida\u00e7\u00e3o do desporto autom\u00f3vel no concelho, contribuindo decisivamente para a afirma\u00e7\u00e3o de Lousada neste setor.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

O Circuito Autom\u00f3vel de Lousada (Pista da Costilha) tornou-se um marco importante, n\u00e3o apenas como local de competi\u00e7\u00f5es, mas como um s\u00edmbolo de identidade e orgulho para a comunidade. As iniciativas do CAL transcenderam as fronteiras do clube e tornaram-se marcas identit\u00e1rias do concelho e da regi\u00e3o, mobilizando as popula\u00e7\u00f5es ao seu redor.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Com os Lousadenses que se sagraram campe\u00f5es nacionais e com a excel\u00eancia organizativa do CAL, Lousada tornou-se conhecida nacional e internacionalmente no cen\u00e1rio dos desportos motorizados. Eventos como a Super Especial do Rally de Portugal, que nasceu em Lousada em 1991, e o Europeu de Rallycross contribu\u00edram para a proje\u00e7\u00e3o do concelho e para a sua associa\u00e7\u00e3o com o desporto autom\u00f3vel.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

No entanto, o facto de os terrenos ocupados pela pista serem propriedade privada estava a limitar muito a ambi\u00e7\u00e3o do CAL e do concelho, de modernizar e ampliar aquele equipamento desportivo e de o dotar de condi\u00e7\u00f5es para almejar acolher outros eventos desportivos internacionais.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Depois de o Munic\u00edpio ter garantido a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o dos terrenos ocupados pela Pista da Costilha e os terrenos envolventes que v\u00e3o permitir a moderniza\u00e7\u00e3o e amplia\u00e7\u00e3o daquele equipamento desportivo, bem como a constru\u00e7\u00e3o de um novo paddock, o que, por si s\u00f3, j\u00e1 seria motivo de regozijo, eis que podemos anunciar a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de um sonho em que poucos acreditavam ser poss\u00edvel: receber novamente em Lousada provas internacionais de Rallycross, depois de um interregno de 17 anos!<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

O investimento na amplia\u00e7\u00e3o e requalifica\u00e7\u00e3o do circuito ter\u00e1 duas fases (2025 e 2026).
