O manager da equipa Toyota no WRC, que meteu uns dias de folga e n\u00e3o se deslocou ao Jap\u00e3o para vir a Fafe discutir o t\u00edtulo no CERH, revela, como j\u00e1 era sabido, um andamento bastante acima dos advers\u00e1rios.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Valter Pierangioli (Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 4&#215;4), um italiano que est\u00e1 fora das contas de qualquer dos t\u00edtulos ainda em aberto, manteve um duelo animado com o polaco Maciej Lubiak (Porsche 911 2.7 RS), rival de Latvala na luta pelo ceptro absoluto, para terminar o dia em segundo e por uma diferen\u00e7a de 2,5s. Will Graham (BMW E30 M3), o terceiro candidato ao t\u00edtulo absoluto, ainda procurou, no in\u00edcio, \u201cseguir\u201d o mais perto poss\u00edvel de Latvala, mas problemas na terceira classificativa fizeram-no perder bastante tempo e cair para s\u00e9timo. A n\u00edvel absoluto, tudo indica que apenas um percal\u00e7o mec\u00e2nico poder\u00e1 deter o finland\u00eas do Toyota Celica e afast\u00e1-lo n\u00e3o apenas de colher os louros em Fafe como de festejar o t\u00edtulo de campe\u00e3o no CERH, tal a superioridade evidenciada.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Com Richard Genesca (Subary Legacy RS) na quarta posi\u00e7\u00e3o e sempre perto do terceiro lugar de Lubiak, Rui Madeira (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III), que rodou grande parte da etapa em quinto, acabaria por perder esse lugar na derradeira classificativa para o espanhol e j\u00e1 campe\u00e3o da Categoria 3 Jesus Ferreiro (Ford Escort RS 1800).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Na Ta\u00e7a de Portugal de Cl\u00e1ssicos, Rui Ribeiro (Ford Escort MK2) est\u00e1 destacado na frente, dispondo de um pec\u00falio de 3m20.3 para C\u00e9sar Freitas (Ford Escort MK1), sendo que a diferen\u00e7a entre este e o terceiro, Armando Marques (Toyota Starlet), n\u00e3o vai al\u00e9m dos 4,6s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A segunda e derradeira etapa, este s\u00e1bado, do Historic Rally Fafe, num dia para o qual n\u00e3o h\u00e1 previs\u00e3o de chuva, \u00e9 um pouco menos extensa que a primeira e engloba 6 classificativas (54,76 km).
